Biden’s Record-Breaking “Confidence” Rating Released – In Nearly 50 Years, The Number Has Never Been This Low: 23%

For much of 2022, President Joe Biden’s approval ratings have suffered. Many polls put his job performance ratings at historically low levels, often dipping down well into the 30s.

There are other metrics to consider, too. And among them, “confidence” in the presidency is a primary indicator for the American public. It often goes very low during times of financial strife.

Maybe that’s why Biden’s confidence rating is now the lowest ever recorded.

The Gallup poll in question has been running since 1975 and since that time, no President has gone as low as the current POTUS. Democrats won’t be happy to know that Trump never went lower, either.

The poll also showed steep declines in confidence in the Supreme Court and in fact, all three Party groups are showing less confidence in the Biden administration than at the same time last year.

The result: less than a quarter of the American public has faith in this presidency.

From Washington Examiner:

President Joe Biden has pushed the presidency to a place it hasn’t been in nearly 50 years.

Going back to 1975, Gallup has never recorded a confidence reading as low as Biden’s 23%.

The Supreme Court saw the sharpest drop in confidence, down 11 points. This is likely due to the controversial rulings on gun laws and the historic Roe v. Wade decision that sent the country into an uproar.

Congress didn’t fare much better, hitting historically low confidence levels. And TV news and newspapers are scraping the bottom of the barrel.

The numbers aren’t pretty for anyone:

This year’s poll marks new lows in confidence for all three branches of the federal government — the Supreme Court (25%), the presidency (23%) and Congress.

Lastly and maybe most importantly, Gallup added, all 3 Parties show “declines of at least 10 points” regarding confidence in the presidency.

This might be the biggest problem for the Biden administration. While it’s not surprising to see low ratings among Republicans, the fact that Democrats are also souring on the administration is a bad sign.

Political analyst Mark Halperin spoke about leftist politicos being unhappy with the President:

The overall bill of particulars is long, and includes: the president’s habit of yelling at staffers is being imitated by senior aides shouting at more junior ones; the White House is slow to react to crises and Republican attacks (if it reacts at all); Mr. Biden is uninspiring; administration officials are exhausted and it shows.

A new Rasmussen Reports poll further shows that a stunningly low percentage of citizens think Biden should run for re-election.

We’re also hearing reports that Biden’s approval among key demographics is dropping fast, another cause for concern. Without typically steadfast leftist voters, Biden’s re-election chances appear slim.

And if the country does enter a recession soon, it seems more likely than ever that Democrats will not continue to hold power in Washington.
