California Democrat Publicly Said “F-Trump” And “F-Musk” – Now Her Career Is Going Down The Tubes She Resigns

In 2022, many politicians are deciding to call it quits. This is especially concerning for Democrats, as they’re losing multiple leaders to retirement, which could shift the balance of power in Washington.

But other left-leaning politicians in state posts are backing away from the political sphere, too. Many say they want to pursue jobs that don’t put them in the spotlight quite as often.

This includes one leftist politician who once publicly insulted former President Donald Trump and businessman Elon Musk.

Lorena Gonzalez, described by Fox news as a “far-left California lawmaker,” has a history of railing against Republicans, Conservatives, and the wealthy.

So unsurprisingly, Trump and Musk were in the path of her wrath several times in recent years. For example, after Musk announced he planned to move many Tesla jobs from California to Texas, Gonzalez tweeted:

Of course, last year, entrepreneur Musk revealed that he was moving the entire Tesla headquarters to Austin, which prompted more backlash from Democrat lawmakers in California.

Gonzalez also slung public insults in the direction of President Donald Trump.

In February 2020, she was speaking at a rally for then-presidential candidate Sen. Elizabeth Warren, and was recorded shouting, “F*** Trump!”

Well, she might not be attending many political rallies in the future now. That’s because she has officially announced her intention to resign from her position (from Fox News):

Lorena Gonzalez, a far-left California state lawmaker known for profane criticism directed at former President Trump and billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk, is resigning from her state Assembly seat.

Gonzalez said in her parting statement that her “top priority” has always been to create better jobs for working people. Her final day in office will be Wednesday, and she’ll start her new job with the California Labor Federation in July.

She has served in the California Assembly for over 8 years (since May 2013), and she was recently diagnosed with breast cancer.

Her health may be another reason she’s seeking a less strenuous position politically, though after an operation in September, she revealed there was “no cancer left.”

At any rate, this is yet another Democrat lawmaker that is through with politics, at least for the time being. And with so many career shifts and retirements, the GOP has high hopes for 2022.

Given the sheer number of leftist politicians that are sprinting out of D.C. this year, it makes sense that Republicans are predicting a hefty “red wave” in the midterm elections.

And if the GOP manages to flip the House (which most see as a definite possibility) and the Senate (that will be a tougher task), then the Democrat hold on Washington will be broken.
