Cruz Blasts The NY Times For Referring To “FREEDOM” As An “Anti-Government Slogan” In Cuba

Senator Ted Cruz blasted the NY Times for a tweet where they wrote:

Shouting “Freedom” and other anti-government slogans, hundreds of Cubans took to the streets in cities around the country on Sunday to protest food and medicine shortages, in a remarkable eruption of discontent not seen in nearly 30 years.

Cruz wrote in response “I love how the NYT acknowledges that “freedom” is an “anti-government slogan. Indeed.”

Veteran Tim Kennedy also blasted the NY Times, writing “Hey @nytimes
you showed your hand here. Please expound on how shouting “freedom” is an anti-government slogan?”
