In the Joe Biden era, sometimes it seems like all is lost to the far-left. But one federal just pushed back against the left’s agenda.
With D.C. in the hands of Democrats (for now), it falls to states and the courts to uphold American values.
We’ve seen major victories at the federal court level. Some judges have struck huge blows against Biden’s agenda.
In one particular area, Biden is having trouble having his way. Things are going to get even harder for him now after a judge just dropped a gavel on an Obama-era holy grail.
A federal judge in Texas on Friday blocked the Biden administration from approving new applications for the Obama-era Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program — but current DACA recipients will remain unaffected for now…
The court order does not “require DHS or the Department of Justice to take any immigration, deportation, or criminal action against any DACA recipient, applicant, or any other individual that it would not otherwise take,” Hanen wrote in the ruling.
A federal judge just ruled against Obama’s DACA program, saying that the former president did not have the authority to create it.
This effectively makes DACA null and void. But the judge was not going to leave current DACA recipients in the lurch.
For now, they can remain in the program and stay in the United States. But this means that new applications cannot be processed.
DACA has been a problem since Obama created this program with an unofficial memo. President Trump was determined to end this problem with a long-lasting solution.
Of course, Democrats refused to negotiate with him—proving they cared more about politics than helping these immigrants.

Under Biden, there has been no attempts to provide a permanent fix to the DACA problem. Biden hasn’t even suggested a clear solution.
But DACA remains a magnet for border jumpers, as it gives them an incentive to risk crossing into the United States.
With DACA frozen, it means millions of migrants have no reason to come into America.
But Biden has already vowed to challenge this ruling, which could result in a Supreme Court ruling.
