This wind turbine, named “AVATAR™ – I“ makes clean energy affordable for everyone, and the goal of the start-up is to “eliminate energy poverty, reduce dependence on struggling state power grids and create energy self-sufficiency for all the needy ones through distributed, localized and affordable renewable energy.
“In doing so, we believe we can collectively usher in our world a cleaner environment, new economic prosperity, and social change.”
Avant Garde Innovations believes that for an effective impact on the environment, all people should have equal access to clean energy. Their turbine is small, about the size of a ceiling fan, but it can produce from 1 to 5 kilowatts of power daily, which is enough for a single home.
The one-time fee to buy “AVATAR™ – I” is $899, and they” deliver worldwide via ocean freight, available at extra cost upon request.”
AVATAR is also available in two more capacities, AVATAR™ – III ((3kW) for the price of $2,430.00, and AVATAR™ – V (5kW), that costs $4,045.00.
The company informed us that they are “now preparing to have a global network of Distribution established across U. S, E. U, Africa, Middle East and Australia.”
Arun explained:
“Investors are also interested because the design holds the promise of being implemented as hydel or tidal turbines, too. It could also be converted into an automobile motor after certain modifications.”
Their wind turbine has provided the company a place in the Top 20 Cleantech Innovations in India, and the company has also been listed among the 10 clean energy companies from India for the “UN Sustainable Energy For All” initiative under the one- billion dollar clean energy investment opportunity directory and amongst the Top 100 Global Startups of the world at the NEWENERGY Global Startup Fest, Astana, Kazakhstan.
AVATAR™ Wind Turbine was also chosen amongst the Top 20 innovations at UN Innovations Summit 2019.
