This is the weirdest story about the 2016 election as you will find. A CBS 60 Minutes producer wanted to sink Donald Trump during the 2016 election.
So he went to see Ghislaine Maxwell to try to get access to tapes Epstein was rumored to have of powerful men. Ira Rosen was a CBS producer who worked on 60 Minutes, he has a new autobiography out and he says Maxwell told him Jeffrey Epstein had tapes of Bill Clinton and Donald Trump.
Rosen wanted tapes that could hurt Trump but Maxwell told him that is not the way that works, and as she wanted Hillary to win, said she knew if Trump‘s tapes leaked so would Clinton’s. And she would have no part in that.

She eventually told him she didn’t know where they were so she could be of no use to him. It is important to note a few things – Epstein was rumored to have cameras all over his homes so if they exist they could be innocent and not related to sex.
And remember, Trump famously only flies on his plane, stays at his resorts, and goes to his clubs. The same cannot be said for bill Clinton.
From The Daily Mail:
In his memoir, Rosen reveals he arranged a meeting with Maxwell in early 2016, and acting on ‘hunch’ that the tapes existed, tricked her into confirming they did.
‘I want the tapes. I know he [Epstein] was videotaping everyone and I want the tapes of Trump with the girls,’ Rosen told her.
Maxwell replied: ‘I don’t know where they are.’
Rosen writes he told her to ‘ask Epstein’, adding that the ‘fate of the country is at stake.’
‘Trump could be elected president and how would you feel if those tapes emerged after he was in office?’ Rosen asked Maxwell.
‘She gave me a stern look and pointed a finger in my face. She said: “I am the daughter of a press baron. I know the way you people think. If you do one side, you must do the other. If you get the tapes on Trump you have to do Clinton”.’
Rosen replied: ‘I will. I will go wherever the story goes.’
According to Maxwell, however, Epstein, allegedly never told her of the whereabouts of the tapes, Rosen writes.
‘Maxwell didn’t want Trump elected, but said that Hillary Clinton was comfortably ahead and there was no need for the story to come out.
‘Besides, she said, Epstein never shared with her the location of the tapes.’
