According to the new book “I Alone Can Fix It: Donald J. Trump’s Catastrophic Final Year,” by Wapo reporters Carol Leonnig and Philip Rucker, Liz Cheney was so mad at Rep. Jim Jordan during the Capitol riot on January 6 that she smacked his hand away.
“Get away from me. You f—ing did this,” Cheney reportedly said to Jordan.
According to the book Cheney told Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley “That f—ing guy Jim Jordan. That son of a b—- … While these maniacs are going through the place, I’m standing in the aisle and he said ‘We need to get the ladies away from the aisle. Let me help you.’ I smacked his hand away and told him, ‘Get away from me. You f—ing did this.’”
Cheney was voted out of her role as GOP Conference Chair in May, the #3 House Republican leadership role.
