Governor Kim Reynolds told a talk radio show in an interview that the Federal gov’t came to Iowa with hat in hand begging for help with the border disaster that Joe Biden created and is responsible for and that the media refuses to be outraged about.
Gov. Reynolds just told them to keep on walking.
“We will not do that, we don’t have the facilities, we are not set up to do that,” she said.
“This is not our fight, this is not our problem; this is the president’s problem,” said Reynolds. “He is the one that opened the borders. He needs to be responsible for this, and he needs to stop it.”
That is DANG right. Listen:
“We have kids that we’re having trouble placing right now, that are Iowa children, that need those foster homes,” she said. “We already have issues in the state that we’re trying to address.”
She said states need to deal with their own residents and not be “inundated” with President Biden’s human caused disaster.
It’s not just words, it’s policy.
“Iowa is not in a position to take unaccompanied minors at this time,” is what Iowa Department of Human Services Director Kelly Garcia said when the feds came panhandling.
They aren’t getting in. Go Iowa! Between this and constitutional carry, Gov. Reynolds is doing pretty good lately.
