Senator Cruz And Paul Team Up Against Dr. Fauci – After He Claims “I Represent Science” They Call Him An “Astounding Authoritarian”

I think it’s safe to say that most Americans are done listening to so-called expert Anthony Fauci. The only people still propping up this fearmonger are Democrats and the liberal media. But numerous Republican leaders are calling out this man, who seems to care more about staying in the limelight than helping the country.

Fauci has been in the hot seat for a while after it was revealed he appeared to cover up funding that went to Wuhan. He even made a bogus claim, saying he “represented” the entire scientific community (and science itself). Well, patriotic leaders were not standing for that.

From Townhall:

Republican Senator and Dr. Rand Paul is tearing into Dr. Anthony Fauci after the bureaucrat claimed he “represents the science” during a Sunday interview with “Face the Nation.”

From Townhall:

Sen. Ted Cruz addressed Dr. Anthony Fauci’s attack on him after the Texas Republican suggested he be investigated for allegedly making false statements before Congress…

“Fauci is an unelected technocrat who has distorted science and facts in order to exercise authoritarian control over millions of Americans. He lives in a liberal world where his smug ‘I REPRESENT science’ attitude is praised,” Cruz said.

Both Sens. Ted Cruz and Rand Paul are fighting back after Fauci made wild claims and attacks against them. Fauci, while facing heat for his involvement in Wuhan, claimed he “represented science.” It almost seemed that he was saying his ever-changing opinions could not be challenged.

Paul hit back, saying the man’s “hubris” was “astounding and alarming.” Sen. Paul has long challenged Fauci’s claims. He’s even called for investigations into what the man has said before Congress.

Ted Cruz took an even stronger tone after Fauci seemed to suggest Cruz was somehow connected to January 6th. Fauci could have been trying to distract from his own problems, getting into a political finger-pointing game.

But Cruz hammered him, saying he is an “unelected technocrat.” He even accused Fauci of “distorting” science and facts. The Republican said Fauci was trying to “exercise authoritarian control” over Americans.

During the height of last year, Fauci was the strongest proponent of lockdowns. Despite the massive damage these restrictions did to our economy and overall wellbeing, he pushed them. He dismissed Americans’ pain as being “inconvenient.”

Today, most Americans don’t appear to be listening to Fauci. Some suggest he is nothing more than a puppet for the left. Even colleagues within the scientific community slam his hysteria-producing comments.
