Trump Tells Biden “Not On My Watch” – The Donald Says Russia Invasion China And Taiwan Wouldn’t Happen With Him in Charge

Many political leaders accuse Biden of being outmatched in matters of foreign policy.

They point to last year’s Taliban takeover of Afghanistan and Biden’s reportedly less-than-stellar foreign relations record. Now, he might have to preside over another European war.

And Biden’s predecessor says none of this would be happening if he was still in Washington.

Former President Donald Trump has been very vocal about Biden’s tenure so far, speaking out against the current Commander-in-Chief on topics like the border, inflation, and foreign policy.

And after Russia sent troops into Ukraine, Trump was quick to speak out again on “The Clay Travis & Buck Sexton Show.”

From his Mar-a-Lago estate, Trump spoke at length about his relations with Russia and its President, Vladimir Putin. And after Putin recognized separatist regions of Ukraine as “independent,” things boiled over in D.C.

That’s where Trump comes in. He’s reminding everyone that if he were still in charge, things would be different.

Via The Daily Wire, quoting the former President:

By the way, this never would have happened with us. Had I been in office, not even thinkable. This would never have happened.

I knew that he always wanted Ukraine. I used to talk to him about it. I said, ‘You can’t do it. You’re not gonna do it.’ But I could see that he wanted it. I used to ask him. We used to talk about it at length.

I think nobody probably knows him better in terms of the discussions that we have or that we’re having this morning. So I knew him very well.

Trump doesn’t believe the Russia/Ukraine flap is the end of the international problems, either.

He’s convinced that China is going to move on Taiwan as well, saying “China is gonna be next.” This is something many world leaders have been concerned about for some time.

When co-host Clay Travis asked Trump if China is going to go after Taiwan, Donald replied, “Oh, absolutely.” But he also added, “not with me, they wouldn’t have.”

Trump claimed that Russia would wait until after the Olympics in Beijing were over, and then both Russia and China would mobilize. And Ukraine and Taiwan would be in the immediate crosshairs.

Republicans across the country echo Trump’s sentiments, saying President Biden just isn’t the man America needs to deal with such a situation.

Trump says “Putin would never have done it” and Chinese President Xi wouldn’t attempt to go after Taiwan, if Donald was still in the Oval Office. He said something similar when Afghanistan fell.

While the U.S. government plans to impose sanctions on Russia, many say this simply isn’t enough.

It’s not enough of a statement and it won’t stop Russia from assaulting Ukraine. On top of that, critics say it only emboldens Putin further, because the consequences clearly aren’t that severe.

On the other hand, Trump supporters firmly believe the world would be a much safer place if he were still in charge on Capitol Hill.
